The Okanagan Indian Band Fire Department responded to a fire off of Westside Road this morning.

The blaze was located near the Six-Mile area, and started when a shed with an attached porch caught fire and burned to the ground.

"The building was being used for storage, and two boats and a motor home were lost," says Nick Nilsen, communications specialist for the OKIB. "There were no injuries."

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
