Male Rabbit
Breed: Silver Marten Cross

6Yrs 4Mths (approx)
Colour: Black / Brown

Wonderful Raymond is a rabbit who came to the SPCA from a home with too many rabbits to properly care for and living in a crowded environment. We don't know his full history or his exact age unfortunately, just that he's a charming rabbit. He arrived in our care covered in wounds from fighting and being attacked by the other intact male rabbits in the home. He has been treated for his injuries and is looking and feeling much better! Raymond is a confident and funny rabbit, who is fairly easy to handle, and would be a great addition to a home. He's curious and likes to explore his enclosure - especially to search for treats. He is learning to use his litter box and actually fairly clean, and with more practice we believe he will become a tidy rabbit. With his previous history of fighting and being attacked by other rabbits he may be best as the only male rabbit in the home. He has gotten along well with another female in our care who he likes to cuddle and groom. In fact if you're looking for two rabbits, Rachel and Raymond are quite the loving pair. With slow, proper introductions he could probably have a new bunny friend. Raymond has been neutered, and now he is ready to find a fur-ever home. Could it be with you?Rabbits require special housing, diet, and care. Adopters will need to show knowledge of this to help lovely Raymond have a happy and healthy life. An adoption counseling session with our Adoption Staff is necessary before adopting any animal. Do you think you could be Raymond's person? Here are some ways to find out:1. Visit our centre to meet this pet, learn more about their ideal match and apply to adopt in person; or2. Fill out our rabbit adoption application https://spca.bc.ca/wp-content/uploads/BC_SPCA_Rabbit_Matching_Survey.pdf, and email it to [email protected] Staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions, we will only be contacting potential adopters to further review their interest. We are not able to contact all applicants
