AB single-day numbers rise

While COVID-19 numbers in B.C. have remained low over the past few days the situation on our eastern border in Alberta is very different.

Alberta Health reported the largest single-day increase since May 16, with 71 cases of COVID-19 in the province with no new deaths on Monday. On May 16, 2020, there were 72 new cases.

CTV News is reporting that the Edmonton zone continues to have the highest number of active cases in Alberta with 257, while Calgary has 239 active cases.
