The BC Conservation Service reeled in a couple of anglers who were fishing in the wrong spot.
According to the BCCS Facebook page, the two anglers face multiple charges related to fishing in a closed portion of Great Central Lake near Port Alberni in 2019.
Conservation officers seized fishing rods and tackle after coming across the anglers allegedly fishing in a closed section.
The anglers face several charges, including fishing during a closed time, fishing with prohibited bait, providing a false statement and obstructing an officer.
They are slated to appear in court on July 29.
