Financial assistance available for homes damaged by recent flooding in Kamloops
Disaster Financial Assistance (DFA) has been declared for the City of Kamloops for this year's floods by the provincial government.
If you experienced property or content damages during the landslides and major flooding between April 20-July 7, 2020 and your insurance did not cover the loses, you can apply for money from the Government of British Columbia.
Administered by Emergency Management B.C. DFA has been authorized for qualifying applicants which includes home owners, residential tenants, small business owners, farmers, charitable organizations and local government bodies.
The deadline for to apply is November 3, 2020.
