Merritt RCMP respond to a break and enter in Petit Creek
Merritt RCMP responded to a break and enter near Petit Creek Thursday.
The landowner noted the break and enter at the shop and spotted an unknown bicycle on the property, so they called police.
When Merritt RCMP officers arrived, they located the suspect asleep in a travel trailer on the property.
The male suspect is well known to Merritt RCMP and he was arrested without incident.
Police are recommending a charge of one count of break & enter.
