Elitism in a pandemic

What value does the federal government truly place on Canadian families? How can our elected officials call “national interests” to allow professional sports teams to enter this country without quarantining for 14 days, but not allow a mother to cross the border to hug her son?  

It seems that face masks need to be made of $100 dollar bills as they apparently neutralize the virus negating the need for any restrictions. I was already of the mindset that if Prime Minister Trudeau can blatantly defy travel restrictions then why can’t I. Now that another example of elitism has surfaced I , like the elite, will do as I please.
