Last week, the demolition of the former McDonald’s on Harvey Avenue and Water Street took place. 

The City of Kelowna spent $2.05 million in May to purchase the property and settle legal claims launched by the McDonald's when the restaurant was closed in 2007.

The city says it hopes to make a proposal public by next year for what will replace the restaurant, so Castanet hit the streets to see what you think should go up in its place.
