Okanagan College signs local athlete to join Coyotes for 2021-22 season

College signs local talent

Okanagan College has signed a local athlete to join their baseball team for the 2021-22 season.

The Coyotes welcome Connor Richards from the Okanagan Athletics U18 Premier Baseball program.
“We are pleased to add Connor to our program for next fall,” says head coach Geoff White. “I have known Connor since he was in our U13 program and have watched him progress over the years.”
Richards hit .297 in the 2019 campaign in the Premier Baseball League. The Kelowna Senior Secondary graduate is an infielder but has been used as a utility player for the Athletics.
“Richards brings some versatility and a quality left-handed bat, we have high expectations for him to continue to make positive progress,” adds White.  “We also really like the maturity he brings to the table and he has experience in a variety of positions.”
Richards joins teammate Clark Swift who recently committed to the Okanagan College Coyotes earlier in November.
