DriveBC reports downed power lines north of Vernon on Highway 97 have been cleared between Old Kamloops and Mendenhall roads.

ORIGINAL: 7 p.m.

Highway 97 is down to single-lane alternating traffic north of Vernon between Old Kamloops Road and Mendenhall Road because of downed hydro lines.

DriveBC reminds drivers to watch for traffic control.

Emergency hydro pole work is being done.
