Castanet hit the streets for your opinion on Trudeau urging Canadians to cancel all foreign travel

Cancel all travel?

Jon Manchester

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau took the unprecedented step this week of urging Canadians to cancel all foreign travel.

Trudeau said any Canadian planning an international trip should cancel it, as travellers could get caught up in rapidly changing pandemic regulations.

Canadians still have the right to travel, but all but essential travel has been discouraged for months. Still, that hasn't stopped some from taking sunspot vacations since the arrival of winter weather.

The Public Health Agency of Canada has documented 183 flights arriving in Canada from abroad since Jan. 4 alone, on which at least one passenger had COVID-19.

Castanet hit the streets to see if the PM's latest admonishment will change your travel plans – if you have any.
