I am simply baffled at all the kerfuffle over $40,000 for 100 geese, at a cost of $400 a goose. $40,000? Like really? Hasn't anyone heard of $9.99 for a tin of 250 .177 pellets from Canadian Tire and a pellet gun?
It's pennies. Literally. Pennies. I'll let all of you at Vernon and Kelowna city councils argue away. I have no time for that nonsense. My method is cheaper and more fun. The only bad part of my equation is the inevitable ringing of the neck of a flopping goose. So argue away.
