Canada is doing its best

To the person who was so against Trudeau and how he basically has lied to us Canadians. Well what is new with politicians? You can tell they are lying when their lips are moving.

First. Harper cut spending to graduate students thereby limiting their ability to possibly find cures for many fast mutating SARS or as now known Covid 19 or other seasonal flus.

Second, science tells us from the beginning finding a possible cure until you are vaccinated may take up to 20 years or more logically 6 to 7 years. The world did it in one year with about 10 years working on the SARS vaccine and using computers.

Third. So shut up and don't complain if the companies for what ever reason cant fill the worlds needs especially Canadians. People accuse Trudeau of not doing his job of acquiring vaccines and in fact WHO accused Trudeau of hoarding and last week it was announced Trudeau has already made agreements to get booster shots for 2022. Moderna slashed its shots for Canada as announced but Pfizer announced it will make up the difference. Is that not good governance for Canadians and taking care of Canadians?

Remember Trump screwed up USA and Canadian relations and Moderna is American.

I am an 81-year-old elderly Canadian and i fully believe Canada is doing its level best in helping Canadians with these troubled times. And yes it hurts to see the horrible mess the world is in but Canada is bound by our ability to help less fortunate countries and at times at the peril of us citizens. I tried to stop my vaccination so others would get theirs first but was told one dose will not help that much difference on the Canadian scale to vaccinate.

Lastly, i don't really care if you don't like Trudeau or any other politician. However now that we have been into these terrible times, and remembering all parties agreed allowing the PM to do his thing, many now can see possible needed differences but seem hell bent on criticizing rather then taking the time to contact their MP or Rep and suggest possible changes. Open foot and insert mouth. A recent poll suggested 40% of Canadians wont get vaccinated. Kick them in the pants first.

Why not be more positive for the betterment of all Canadians? We are at least 6 years ahead of where we might be in vaccine for covid-19. Think if the affected persons and deaths in Canada was multiplied by six or even 20. What a horrible thought yet you still complain.
