Mask wars rage on

It was very disappointing seeing a video of another mask war, this time in Vernon, escalating beyond belief. It was as if we were transported back 12 months to an uncertain scared world. Anyone legitimately mask exempt is not required to prove it, or obtain a doctors letter. Yet we have another example of conflict and yelling. The escalation and conflict is probably due to the reason for the exception, if legitimate. The sooner the better as far as lifting this ridiculous oppressive health diktat is concerned, so we can go back to being grown adults making our own choices rather than being treated like children by dictators. Michelle Cartmell writes regarding this incident (“Disappointed in story”) and I fully concur with her.

Bonnie Henry, speaking to the recent data leak, stated "demographics, age and sex, that will be coming very soon." Really, after 14 months of public concern about how the pandemic is being handled? This this the best that BC can offer? Poor value for money from Henry.

Kirk LaPointe writes (“The Public's Right to NO'”) bemoaning the lack of access to detailed data. Well, imagine being a taxpayer who has tried to get information from our Great Omnipotent Leader in Victoria, The Health Minster, Dr Henry, other omnipotent unelected health decision makers, and various MLA's. Simple questions that should result in open transparent communication garner silence. Covid-world doesn't like the tough questions, I guess. Just obey.

Yet we do have questions. And we are getting very tired of the lack of transparency and accountability.

I mentioned recently that we'd be expecting new human rights trials. Now we have MPP's demanding Royal Inquiries based on false claims and lack of a scientific foundation for health restrictions. As Randy Hillier writes “There is significant and mounting evidence that faulty and unverified data sets, as well as flawed testing and reporting resulted in some very harmful restrictions being imposed on the people of Ontario and Canada.” Indeed, but far worse treachery is afoot.

In Manitoba, the chief microbiologist testified in court that equating positive PCR tests to infectious cases, as so many provinces have done over the course of the past 13 months, is incorrect and inaccurate and that that PCR tests do nothing more than confirm the presence of fragments of viral RNA. His study explains that 56% of positive cases are not infectious. Interesting that people were making these allegations a year ago, but now we have expert testimony in court that proves this is a casedemic. Are Dr Henry's case figures incorrect? Are we being oppressed based on lies and deceit? You'd have to think, most likely so.

So clearly legal action is the way forward for us to escape the miasma, forcing professionals to testify under oath. Of course some may lie, but many will obey their own morals, ethics, and the Hippocratic Oath. We cannot rely on the likes of Bankrupt Bonnie. She is still stubbornly insisting that all of BC ends restrictions at the same time. In “lockstep”? But why should Terrace, Trail or Osoyoos face the same restrictions that Fraser Valley does? This is madness. A complete failure to learn from mistakes. No humility, sheer arrogance. In fact, abject cruelty. And Dr Henry wants to vaccinate young people in a phase three clinical trial despite Health Canada stating “safety and effectiveness in people younger than 12 years of age have not yet been established”. Such madness.

South Carolina Governor McMaster has ended all mask mandates and made mandatory vaccination passports illegal. With a fatality rate that is five times higher than BC in a county that is 3 times higher. SC and BC have similar case counts, although SC has a much higher population, BC is less densely populated. So when, Dr Henry, are we going to end this eternal misery?

If there's one thing about the casedemic that I won't forget is being lied to while being treated with utter contempt. In a recent Castanet poll over 60% of voters did not think the Province has been transparent. That majority needs to speak out and demand answers. Perhaps answers via Human Rights court cases and full disclosure.
