Kelowna Rockets ready to welcome fans back at 50% capacity

Rockets set to host fans

With some local COVID-19 restrictions lifting in the Interior Health region, the Kelowna Rockets are getting ready to welcome fans back into the stands at 50 per cent capacity.

The Rockets say season-ticket holders will have the first opportunity to purchase their seats for the three home preseason dates.

The Rockets will play the Victoria Royals in back-to-back home games on September 17 and Saturday, September 18, and then finish the preseason against the Kamloops Blazers in Kelowna on September 25.

Start times for all three games are 7:05 p.m.

Rockets season ticket holders will have a special pre-buy period starting Tuesday morning at 9:00 a.m. and concluding at midnight on Wednesday.

An email with the special promo code was sent to season ticket holders on Tuesday morning.

If a season ticket holder did not receive the email, they are encouraged to reach out to [email protected].

Preseason home game tickets will go on sale to the general public Thursday morning at 11:00 a.m. in person at the Select Your Tickets box office or online at selectyourtickets.com.

Club seat holders and suite holders will receive their preseason tickets from the box office this week.

All fans attending will need to abide by the BC Provincial Health Authority, Prospera Place and the Western Hockey League's recently announced COVID-19 health and safety requirements which includes double vaccination and their BC vaccine card.
