Wrong restaurant for toddler

Re: Robert Hepting’s letter Shrill toddler in restaurant (Castanet, Oct. 25) and E Haggam’s response Don't judge other parents (Castanet, Oct. 25)

I was there that evening (at the restaurant).

There is no problem taking children out for dinner but Covid is not an excuse for bad judgement.

This high end restaurant does not provide high chairs or bumper seats. There are numerous ??family? restaurants in Kelowna that, given a canceled babysitter, would have been a better choice.

The fact our time, yearning for that special ??expensive night out, was ruined by this squealing happy baby (also getting glares from other patrons) saw us leave after appetizers.

I would have never, under any circumstances, take my child to this restaurant.

It’??s called respect and consideration.

I Campbell
