Kelowna city council will get a chance to weigh in on the second phase of a family and senior rental development in the city's north end.
Pleasantvale 2, on Cambridge Avenue, is a carbon copy of the first phase of the project which welcomed residents five years ago.
It will include 48 apartment units for seniors and 27 new family townhomes. The townhomes will feature both two and three bedroom units.
The Pleasantvale property was previously a dilapidated 50-unit site.
Once fully built out, it will include 150 units of housing.
BC Housing owns the property while the Society of Hope will oversee design and construction.
City council will need to approve zoning and OCP changes in order for the project to move forward.
It's expected construction could begin in the spring or summer of 2022 if approvals are granted.
