Wings Vernon and Dahl Group Events are planning the Vernon Wine Show.
The event will take place Feb. 20, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the local restaurant.
"It is about time we all get out and have a bit of fun, for God's sake," says Dahl Group spokesperson Leah Dickinson.
"The Vernon Wine Show allows us to promote and taste Okanagan wines," she said, and will serve as an industry event for hospitality professionals to learn more about wines in the region.
More than 200 wines are expected from 10 wineries at the show, which organizers hope to turn into an annual event.
Tickets are $75 each.
