The Kelowna Snowmobile Club is bringing back its ever-popular snowmobile run after it was cancelled due to COVID-19.
Ashley Siebert one of the event organizers tells Castanet "we got the go-ahead to do our Poker Run on Sunday Feb. 20 (8 a.m.) and all proceeds will be going to BC Children's Hospital & Easter Seals."
The event will go forward with COVID-19 safety protocols in place and will start at the main staging area in Graystokes Provincial Park.
Anyone who is interested in taking part can register online.
Siebert says money raised will go to the Cardiac unit at Children's Hospital and to Easter Seals housing.
"This event is special as I spent my first 19 years with BC Children's hospital being born with Congenital Heart Disease and had all my surgeries and care with them," Siebert says.
