Re.: Poll: Watershed protection (Castanet, Jan. 26)
This should have been done 30 years ago, but, like every ministry in this (current provincial) government and all past governments, nothing has been done to protect our water, air and the environment.
You look at the side of any highway in this province and all you see is plastic garbage blowing into our waterways and mining companies dumping chemicals.
Look at our capital city, Victoria, that dumped human waste into our environment for years.
As for the poll, of course British Columbians believe our waterways should be protected, it’s long overdue.
Voters need to make elected officials do the the job they were elected (to do).
