The Summerland Food Bank's "Sharing Stand" is back for the season.

Throughout the summer and early fall, the food bank will operate its stand aimed at sharing the agricultural wealth of the region and reducing food waste.

It provides free fruit and vegetables to anyone in the community, open from 1 to 4 p.m. rain or shine every Tuesday.

On the flip side, every Monday, members of the community are encouraged to drop off their surplus produce to the food bank so the stand always stays stocked in addition to the garden the food bank operates. Donations are accepted before 4 p.m.

Find them located at 13204 Henry Ave, the parking lot of the United Church.
