Staff from Vernon's Best Buy store cleaned up a beach and messed up the mugs of their managers on Sunday.

The crew of 16 held a staff barbecue at Kin Beach, and gathered garbage from across the park and beach, says staff member Sheila Sperling.

The event was organized by employee experience team leader Chelsea Piper, who received a cake congratulating her on her recent promotion.

The team chowed down on burgers before ending the evening with some fun as "the staff got to cream pie the managers!" says Sperling.
