Barrita Durward of Cottons Chocolate

Vernon master chocolatier Barrita Durward of Cotton's Chocolates will once agin be teaching the fine art of making chocolate.

The Carnival of Chocolate has four events happening Feb. 5 and 12 and is best for children aged seven to 12.

Particpants will get to learn the art of chocolatiering from Durward and will be able to take home everything they make from this sweet event.

For adults, Cotton's will be hosting The Chocolate Express Feb. 3 from 5:45 to 8:45 p.m.

Participants will enjoy an evening of mouthwatering chocolates, chocolate truffle wine pairings and lots of prizes, including a chocolate basket filled with specialty hand-crafted Belgian chocolates.

And just like the kids, adult participants will get to take home everything they make.

Partial proceeds go to the Sweet Smiles Society – Helping Children live the lives children should be living.
