Interior PGA tour

Mark Kitts and James Presnail
The first event of the Interior PGA tour season, the "Two-Man," was held at Penticton Golf and Country Club on April 1.

It was a beautiful, sunny Monday, and PGCC was ready with mid-season conditions and fast greens.

With a late start to the season, most of the professionals were coming into the tournament with only one or two rounds played in 2019. That didn't stop the winning team from Shadow Ridge Golf Club - James Presnail and Mark Kitts, with a winning score of 63.

Coming in second from Two Eagles Golf Course, Dean Claggett and Ethan Danish finished one shot behind at 64.

A number of teams were tied in third place, including one of two teams from the host club, Guy Dow and Matt Jones.

Next Regular event at Kamloops Golf and Country.

The first Regular event of the 2019 Interior PGA tour season was played at Kamloops Golf and Country Club.

It was windy Monday afternoon but that didn't stop Cody Bell from firing a 68 and taking home his first professional win.

Coming in second last years Order of Merit winner Ethan Danish shooting a 69 and in third Finlay Young with a 70.
