It’s been 8 years since a car accident left Cynthia Ramirez paralyzed from the waist down – and eight years since she’s been able to walk on her own. Now, thanks to expanding studies in therapy and robotic technology, Cynthia is able to walk again with a robotic exoskeleton. The device, powered by motors and electronics, is giving her back the freedom she thought she lost.
