The RCMP Southeast District Major Crime Unit has announced it has confirmed criminality in the death of a Slocan Valley man last year.
Aaron Graham, 47, of Vallican, B.C. died on Oct. 8, 2019 of undisclosed causes. RCMP released his identity Tuesday “in an effort to advance the investigation.”
Immediately after Graham's body was found in the Vallican area, 50 kilometres northwest of Nelson, police said the death was suspicious but did not release his name.
“An autopsy has confirmed that Aaron’s death involved criminality,” said Cpl. Jesse O'Donaghey Tuesday
No arrests have been made in relation to Graham’s death, but police hope circulating a photo of him will assist in the investigation. No additional details are being released.
“The RCMP wish to thank the local communities of the Slocan Valley for their cooperation with this investigation,” O'Donaghey added.
