5-year-old missing girl found

Surrey RCMP confirms the 5 year old female child who was reported missing has been located and is safe. Her information has been removed from this story to protect her privacy.


ORIGINAL 3:38 p.m.

A five-year-old girl is missing and Surrey RCMP is requesting the public's help in locating her. 

She was last seen at 2:25 p.m. on Sunday in the 12600 block of 113 Avenue in Surrey.

She has not been seen or heard from since.

She is described as a Caucasian female child who is 4'6" tall with long brown hair in braids and brown eyes.

She was last seen leaving on foot wearing a blue tank top, shorts, a gold hat and carrying a pink back pack.

Police and family are very concerned for her well-being.

She told the family earlier that she wanted to go to a swimming pool. She is known to frequent downtown Whalley area.
