A fugitive rammed a police cruiser in a high-speed chase on Highway 97 in Prince George Wednesday morning.
"Last night, RCMP began an investigation into a break and enter with a suspected stolen vehicle," says Prince George RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Jenn Cooper.
"During the investigation, the police did encounter the stolen vehicle. The suspects rammed the police car. While that was ongoing, a police officer did fire their service pistol at the suspects, and they fled the area."
Police attempted to stop the suspects with multiple spike belts, Cooper added.
The vehicle was eventually located down an alley, and two suspects were apprehended with the assistance of a police dog.
No injuries occurred during the incident.
