1 dead in classic car crash

A man is dead after a crash involving a classic car in Langley, B.C.

RCMP say the crash occurred just after 4 p.m. Friday in the 20700 block of Grade Crescent in Langley City.

The two vehicles involved were a Dodge Caravan and a 1932 Ford Roadster.

The driver of the Roadster, a 49-year-old man, was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

“The very early investigation suggests the Roadster suddenly swerved and collided with the caravan. It is believed the deceased may have suffered a medical event,” Cpl. Holly Largy of the Langley RCMP.

“The driver of the Caravan was mostly uninjured but extremely affected by shock.”
