The BC Wildfire Service says it did not move ahead with a planned planned ignition today due to adverse weather.
"We are expecting favourable conditions tomorrow. Updates will be provided tomorrow as more details about timing become available," BCWS said.

The BC Wildfire Service is conducting planned ignitions at a wildfire south of Cranbrook on Wednesday.
The 1,350-hectare Connell Ridge fire is 23 kilometres south of the community and has not grown in the past few days.
The planned ignition today is being conducted with a heli-torch.
“During the ignition operations, ground crews and the ignition specialist will be constantly observing on-site weather, wind direction and wind speed," BCWS said online.
The ignition was scheduled to start at 11 a.m. today, pending weather.
The operation, paired with warmer conditions, means the fire will be more visible from the surrounding area.
There are currently 65 ground firefighters, 12 helicopters and 24 pieces of equipment assigned to the lightning-caused wildfire.
An area restriction is in place around the fire, limiting access to the backcountry, so crews can work safely. An evacuation alert from the Regional District of Kootenay Boundary remains in place.
