Penticton Vees postpone game versus Merritt Centennials due to ongoing flood situation

The Penticton Vees have postponed their Wednesday night game against the Merritt Centennials.

Given the ongoing flooding situation in Merritt and on interior highways, the BCHL and the Vees decided a postponement to an as-yet undecided future date was prudent.

"The Vees send their well wishes to the City of Merritt and all other areas around BC who have been affected by the recent flooding in the province," reads a news release from the organization issued Tuesday.

Information on the updated game time and date between the Vees and Centennials will be announced at a later date.
