The West Kelowna Warriors have added size and skill up front.

The Warriors this week announced they have received a commitment from six-foot-four, 192 pound forward Luke Devlin.

Devlin, born in Memphis and now residing in the Toronto area, led the St. Andrew's College Saints (CAHS) in scoring this past season with 19 goals and 47 points over 44 games.

"We are very excited for Luke to join the Warriors family," said head coach and GM Simon Ferguson while making the announcement.

"Luke is a player we followed for a couple seasons. He brings size, speed and an ability to make plays and put the puck in the net."

Devlin is familiar with the league after his older brother Ian made the journey west last season, playing with the Coquitlam Express.

The two teams are scheduled to face each other March 11 when Coquitlam make their lone trip to Royal LePage Place.

"March 11 is definitely circled on my calendar," said Devlin.

"I'm stoked to take our basement mini stick battles from years ago to the BCHL."

Devlin will join the Warriors when they open training camp later this summer.
