Six members of the reigning Royal Bank Cup champion Penticton Vees are hoping to step on the national stage.
The six, have been invited to try out for Team Canada West which will participate in the World Jr. A Challenge next month in Yarmouth, N.S.
Also invited are three members of the Vernon Vipers, two West Kelowna Warriors and one from the Merritt Centennials.
In all, 60 players will attend the selection camp including 25 from the BC Hockey League.
The selection camp runs from October 28 to 31 in Calgary.
The World Jr. A Challenge, which brings together teams from Canada (East and West), the US, Russia and Czech Republic, runs from November 5 to 11.
Invited to the selection camp from the BCHL Interior Division include:
