Dear Cop - Running Yellow Light

I am a truck driver, I was driving through a city in Alberta and one night
was approaching a traffic light. It turned yellow and was written a ticket for running a yellow light,I knew I couldn't stop in time for the light. My question is this, will I receive any points on my license for this?
