CRIME:           BEAR SPRAY ASSAULT

DATE:             January 16, 2020

RCMP FILE:    2020-2822

On the morning of January 16, 2020, a male dropping a student off at Kelowna Secondary School located on Raymer Avenue witnessed a tool-wielding male attempting to remove a parking meter located at the Okanagan College.   The driver confronted the suspected thief and a verbal exchange ensued with security from the campus summoned.  A short time later when the witness was leaving the area, he had another encounter with the male, who rode over to the vehicle and discharged bear spray through the driver’s open window.  If you can identify this person of interest, please contact Kelowna RCMP or Crime Stoppers.

CRIME:           ROAD RAGE ASSAULT

DATE:             March 9, 2020

RCMP FILE:    2020-13734

Kelowna RCMP would like to know if you witnessed an attack occurring on March 9, 2020 at approximately 11:45 a.m. in the Sunshine Market parking lot located at 4600 Lakeshore Road.   The victim, a woman, had apparently passed a small black car while driving south on Gordon Drive.  Unbeknownst to her, the car followed her to her destination where she was confronted about her speeding and subsequently punched in the face.  The male is described as a slim male in his 30’s with short brown hair with a goatee and was wearing a grey hoodie.
