Fetty Wap sued over attack

Rapper Fetty Wap is being sued by a woman for allegedly assaulting her inside his Los Angeles home.

Back in January, TMZ reported the Trap Queen star was off the hook following an investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department into the incident, after the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office found "insufficient evidence to prove the case beyond a reasonable doubt."

However, according to legal documents obtained by The Blast, the woman has filed a suit against the hitmaker, requesting unspecified damages after she "continues to suffer from extreme distress, humiliation, indignation, and outrage as a result of Fetty Wap's intoxicated and violent conduct."

In cellphone video, obtained by TMZ at the time of the incident, a woman can be heard accusing Fetty of putting his hands on her, and challenged him to do it again.

Fetty then appears to smack the phone out of her hand.

She told the LAPD that Fetty grabbed her by the neck and tossed her against a wall. She also claimed that the musician did it for a second time, and made it hard for her to breathe as he applied pressure to her neck.

In the new papers, the woman, who is not identified, adds Fetty "violently grabbed (her) by her throat and strangled her," explaining: "While still choking her, (Fetty) forcefully pushed (her) against a window and threatened (her) by saying 'I'll kill you.'"

She adds he grabbed her by the "arm, neck, and hair, ripping parts of her clothes and her neckless (sic) from her body," claiming she, "felt extreme fear for her health and safety and felt extreme pain and swelling on numerous parts of her body."

The hitmaker has yet to respond to the filing.
