Incarcerated rapper Kodak Black will donate $1 million to charity if Donald Trump issues him a presidential pardon.
The Zeze star is being held at United States Penitentiary Thomson, a high-security prison in Illinois, where he's serving a 46-month sentence on a weapons charge until August 2022.
Taking to Twitter on Friday, the 23 year old pledged to give back to the community if Trump releases him from jail, writing: "If The President ... Free Me, I'm Gonna Spend 1 million on Charity within The First Year I'm Out."
Kodak landed his sentence for making false statements on federal forms when he purchased firearms at a weapons store. According to TMZ, his legal team reportedly reached out to Trump back in September, arguing the facility he is incarcerated in is not suitable given the non-violent nature of his offense.
They added that they found his sentence to be particularly harsh, while the musician, real name Bill Kahan Kapri, previously claimed he was being tortured at a Kentucky prison where he was then held.
