Pop star Pink was reduced to tears on Monday after watching students at her old high school perform a rendition of her hit song What About Us.
The So What singer, real name Alecia Moore, came across video footage of kids at Central Bucks High School West in Doylestown, Pennsylvania on Twitter, and promptly shared the clip with her 31.6 million followers.
In the accompanying caption, Pink gave a shout out to her old choir teacher, Dr. Joseph Ohrt, as she recalled always being called out for showing off her vocals during the group classes.
"Mr. Ohrt was my high school choir teacher. His famous quote to me was 'Alecia, it's NOT a solo'," she quipped, "but I (love) this and it brought me to tears!!!!!! You all sound amazing and I'm totally overwhelmed with love."
Pink never graduated from Central Bucks High, but she later returned to her studies to earn her GED (General Educational Development Test) - the equivalent to a high school diploma - in 1998.
