Jennifer Aniston won't be attending the Emmys on Sunday (19Sep21) due to COVID concerns.
Aniston, who is nominated along with her Friends co-stars for their reunion special, shared the news that she'll be watching at home.
"No, I will not be going," she told late night TV host Jimmy Kimmel on his Monday night show.
The actress, who recently announced she had cut tie with the unvaccinated people in her life, doesn't think it's worth the risk.
She told Jimmy, "I've been in the house a lot" and shared she had only visited a few close friends in her "bubble" during the pandemic, but is still avoiding large indoor gatherings.
So appearing in-person on Kimmel's show was "a big step" for her.
"This is a big step for me, to just be here. I'm just (taking) baby steps."
Last year she was nominated for her role as TV anchor Alex Levy on The Morning Show.
