Spears Wedding Faked?

BRITNEY SPEARS' wedding -- a fake? US Weekly is claiming this, but her publicist denies it, and Britney herself claims she and KEVIN FEDERLINE are married -- spiritually, if not legally. US Weekly says that it has obtained a signed, notarized document that states, quote, "Britney Spears and Kevin Federline... agree that they intend to participate in a 'faux' wedding with one another on September 18th, 2004 however, they do not intend to and shall not validly marry one another on said date." The magazine says disagreements over the details of the prenup led to the creation of this document.

Britney and Kevin openly admit that they did not file a marriage license with authorities. However, Britney told People magazine, which is publishing "exclusive" photos of the September 18th ceremony, quote, "I know we're not completely legal until we file the license, which we'll do next week. But in a real sense, a spiritual sense, we're married. We're just following our lawyer's advice." And Britney's publicist says, quote, "It is not a fake anything. They're married."

The FCC voted yesterday to slap a $550,000 on CBS -- that's $27,500 dollars for each of the 20 CBS-owned TV stations that aired the event. This is the largest fine ever levied against a television broadcaster. Meanwhile, Janet will play herself on tonight's "Will And Grace"
