Theatre Kelowna, British Columbia’s oldest community theatre is holding auditions for its upcoming Christmas production You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, the Broadway Musical.
Revived in 1999 the musical won two Tony Awards and proved once again that we all love the classic Peanuts characters and their wonderful insights into the meaning of life. Filled with wonderful songs and delightful humour, You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown will be directed by Don Keith, with vocal direction by Ellen Churchill.
Theatre Kelowna presented the original version in 1981 starring CBC’s very own Sad Goat Bill Richardson as Schroeder.
Auditions for You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown will be held this weekend October 1st to 3rd at the Rotary Arts Centre in Kelowna. Please prepare a monologue and a song from a Broadway show. Show up in person at 7 p.m. this Friday October 1st at the Rotary Centre to book an audition time, or phone Debby Helf at 862-8673 to preregister. See you this weekend.
