If you've ever been interested in taking a tumble into the sport of cheerleading, then you may want to drop into the open house at Freeze Athletics on Aug. 30.
The local cheerleading gym is inviting kids and families of all ages to attend their free event to learn more about the sport and the programs they offer. From their competitive cheerleading teams – some of which qualified for a world championship in Orlando earlier this year – to recreational classes, Freeze has around 300 athletes currently enrolled in programs.
During the open house, they will be offering half-hour trial classes from 3 to 5:30 p.m. and then an open gym from 6 to 7 p.m.
There will be door prizes, tours and a chance to get discounts on fall registrations. But most importantly, there will be free food.
The gym is located at #14-970 Laval Cres.
