Power has been restored to the neighbourhoods as of a few minutes ago.
3:30 p.m.
Currently, 3,707 customers are without power in Aberdeen, Knutsford and others south of Kamloops as B.C. Hydro crews are en route to solve the problem.
First reported a couple of hours ago, B.C. Hydro doesn't currently list a cause of the issue on their website, but expects crews to be on scene at 3:45 p.m.
The area involved in the outage is rather large, with the northern boundary just south of Highway 1 in Aberdeen, stretching south along Highway 5A and Long Lake Road.
An estimated time for when power will return has not been given by B.C. Hydro.
