The Kamloops Pickleball Club had a bright weekend in Abbotsford despite the smoky weather, with members winning six more shiny medals at the Fraser Valley Pickle in the Park.
Casey Rodgers and Kristina Lidster led the way, capturing a gold in the ladies 4.5 division. Rodgers also teamed up with Brent Jackson to win a silver in the mixed 5.0.
Matt Stodola and Jackson grabbed a silver in the men's 5.0, while Cam Rich and Lidster came second in the mixed 4.5 division.
Rich (along with partner Richard DeLong from Salmon Arm) beat fellow Kamloopsians Chris Ross and Jeremy Comazzetto for the bronze medal in the men's 4.5 division.
Rounding out the medals was JJ Klontz and partner Marilyn Cross winning a silver for the ladies 4.0 division.
The tournament ran from Aug. 18 to 19 and had 156 entrants in total.
