Self-described "world punks" GrimSkunk are heading west to Kamloops.
The Montreal-based band — founded in 1988 — has a 30-year career playing in a niche they built, somewhere between punk and metal with influences from around the world. And weed.
The band is on a cross-country tour right now with B.C.'s Ninjaspy, a band that, while younger, has followed a similar path mixing different types of metal, punk and just a hint of global influences. Locals Bleak Valley will be opening the April 1 show.
Doors open at 7 p.m. at the Blue Grotto, with Bleak Valley taking the stage around 8 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance and can be bought HERE.
