Three men sought by Kamloops RCMP after armed robbery

Kamloops Mounties are seeking three men after a robbery involving a small pistol.

Around 1 a.m. this morning, April 14, a man was walking in the area of University Drive and College Drive at the Thompson Rivers University campus. He was approached by three men who told him to give them his things, according to a police press release.

One of the men pulled out a small black pistol.

The individual gave the trio his personal items and was able to leave. He then contacted the police.

“Situations such as this remind us of the rare; however, real possibility of being the victim of this type of crime," says Sgt. Brandon Buliziuk in the release. "The property we own is most often replaceable. Our wellbeing and personal safety should remain the priority.”

Police are in the area, according to the release, in larger numbers than usual.

The three men being sought by police are all described as Caucasian men in their mid-20s wearing black clothing.

They were last seen going north on the Summit Connector.
