On Our Radar: Who's down for some downtown 3-on-3 and Summer League?

We can't all be Kawhi Leonard, but this June there's going to be a more than a couple people trying to drain a shot like the Raptors star.

The city's core will be used (for the first time ever) as the site of a 3-on-3 tournament as Victoria Street sidewalks become courtside seating (because the 300 block of Victoria Street will be basketball courts). The tournament is running alongside the new two-day Summer League Block Party, which will feature live music (the line-up hasn't been announced yet) and include things like yoga and spin classes, live painting and local beer.

Bank3, as the tournament has been dubbed, will have four divisions: elite (which is by invitation only), open men's, open women's and high school. Games will be first to 21 on a half court with a 12-second shot clock. Teams can register HERE for $200.

Summer League will be a mixture of activities and culture, with plenty of food options. Terra Restaurant will be involved both days; on Saturday they're creating unique pairings with local wine, while the brewers of the city are showing up for the Sunday with a barbecue.

It's free to watch the 3-on-3 games, but the block party is a ticketed event, running $20 a day, or $30 for both days (plus taxes). Drink tickets are needed for the drinks, as well.
