Two Kamloops Classics racers hit regional time standards in Kelowna

Two members of the Kamloops Classic Swim Club achieved regional time standards at the AquaJets Spring Jamboree in Kelowna over the weekend (May 4).

Mason Poitras and Zahra Amor both hit their time standard in the 200m individual medley. They were just two of eight Classics swimmers to take part in the meet, that saw every member of the team post at least three personal bests.

Allison Ring led the way, racing to multiple first-place finishes.

The 6x50m freestyle relay team also finished in second place overall. The team members include Abhi Sharma, Graycen Leduc, Mikayla Brinkworth, Oliver Turpin, Augusts Hill and Poitras.
