Kamloops Mounties say the gas leak incident has been resolved and that all roads have been reopened.
5:25 p.m.
The Kamloops RCMP confirmed they are responding, along with other local emergency services, to a gas leak in Juniper Ridge.
The gas main break occurred in a condo construction site on the 2000 block of Qu'Appelle Boulevard, according to a release from Staff Sgt. Mat Van Laer.
Several homes in the area were evacuated as a precaution until the leak is fixed.
No traffic is being permitted on Qu'Appelle Boulevard, west of the Highland Road roundabout until further notice.
Kamloops Fire Rescue was unavailable for comment.
