Building permit records show an Old Navy is slated to come to Kamloops.
An application came in on Oct. 31, according to the City of Kamloops website to remodel part of Aberdeen Mall for the popular clothing store.
Building permit application records also show in September Fresh Street Market is working towards renovating space in the mall. A permit to build a Marshalls was submitted in March, as well.
When Sears shut down all its Canadian stores in 2017 and in early 2018, it left a large space in Aberdeen Mall without any tenants.
No date has been publicized for the store's opening.
